Steroids are not recommended for young children nwith virus induced wheezing. Two studies reported in the New England Journal of Medicine were done in London England. Oral prednisilone was not superior to the placebo as measured in days of hospitalization.In the second study it was concluded that the potential risks of fluticasone treatment outweigh the benefits of treatment. the findings should not be generalized to older children, however. Children in the study were all preschool.

WALMART PAY FINE TO U.S. SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF TEXAS

Walmart was fined $637,000 for not having proper records of controlled substances resulting in loss by theft or possible diversion. Stores involved were more than 5 Walmart stores and Sams club pharmacies in Southern Texas.Also found in the investigation is that reports of loss were either not filed or not timely filed, also a violation. THE DEA IS OUT TO AUGMENT THEIR BUDGET.
Walgreens lays off 1000 corporate jobs

In response to a flattened growth and lackluster economy, Walgreens has cut these jobs not at store level but in corporate and district offices. Targeted workers will be given choice of resigning or retiring with severance pay. THERE ARE MANY CORPORATIONS OUT THERE THAT ARE TOP HEAVY. MAYBE THEY SHOULD TAKE NOTICE.
